Adults By request

Adult swim lessons, starting wherever you are

For the adult who never learned, and for the one who swims laps and wants a stroke that stops costing them the second half of the pool. Same coaches, same curriculum, arranged one to one.

Every level, from a first lesson to advanced stroke work — placed with a coach by request.

A coach, a lane, and your own pace

Adult lessons run one to one. The Hallandale pool is booked with children through the week, so an adult is placed with a coach at one of the Bravo pools — Florida International University in North Miami, or the Miramar Aquatic Complex — where there is a full-length lane to work in.

Our coaches came up through European national teams and have taught adults for as long as they have taught children. A first lesson starts with what you can do today, in water you can stand up in.

In short

What you get

What comes with every session

Placed by conversation

Tell us what you can do in water and what you want to be able to do. We match the coach and the pool to that, then agree a time that fits your week.

Every level welcome

From a first lesson in the shallow end to freestyle that has to survive a mile. The curriculum runs the same way — one skill at a time, in order.

Career coaches

Ex-national-team athletes, Red Cross WSI certified, CPR and AED trained, every one background-checked and insured.

Full-length water

Adult sessions run at Bravo Swimming — FIU in North Miami, or the Miramar Aquatic Complex — where the lanes are long enough to swim a real set.

Next step

Tell us where you are in the water

One call sets the level, the coach and the pool. Adults are placed by request, so this is the step that starts it.
