Semi-private: two swimmers, one coach

Most of the attention of a private lesson at a little over half the price each. Pair two siblings, two friends, or two children at the same rung of the ladder.

$100 a session for the pair — $50 per swimmer. Any age, any level.

The middle rung between group and private

A coach split two ways rather than four. In practice that means a correction lands within a few seconds rather than a few turns, and a child still has someone beside them to swim against — which for a lot of children is the thing that makes them try.

Pairing is flexible. Siblings are the obvious case and the easiest to schedule, but two friends at similar levels work just as well, and we will help match a swimmer if you do not arrive with a pair.

What comes with every session

Split price, not split attention

The session costs $100 between two, which is $50 a swimmer — closer to a group rate for something much closer to a private lesson.

More focused than a group

One coach, two swimmers. A stroke fault gets corrected the moment it appears instead of at the end of the lane.

Someone to swim with

A sibling or a friend in the next lane changes how hard a child tries. Plenty of swimmers who stall alone move quickly in a pair.

Any level in the pair

Semi-private is not tied to an age band. Two swimmers at similar levels can be four and five years old, or nine and eleven.
