Every instructor on this program has completed the Ernie Els #GameON Autism® MARINO Adapted Aquatics Certification. That is a specific qualification in adapted aquatics, and it is the difference between a coach who is willing to adapt a lesson and one who has been trained in how.
Lessons run 30 minutes, one to one, and work on four things at once: water safety, swimming skills, confidence, and whatever the swimmer and the family have set as their own goal. An assessment comes first and decides where each of those starts.
A month covers 4 private lessons of 30 minutes. Single lessons are available, and the $85 assessment is charged once, before the first one.
Instructors hold the Ernie Els #GameON Autism® MARINO Adapted Aquatics Certification — training built specifically around teaching swimmers on the autism spectrum and with other individual needs.
A $85 assessment before lessons begin, covering abilities, comfort, safety needs and personal goals. It is how the approach is chosen rather than guessed at.
Quiet-time slots run Fri 4 PM – 6 PM · Sun 2 PM – 4 PM — a calmer pool, held for swimmers who do better with less happening around them. More times are available on request.
Autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, sensory processing differences, developmental or motor delays, anxiety, physical differences, and other individual needs.
The assessment is the way in — it sets the approach, the goals and the slot. One call books it.
