What they learn

What Starfishes learn

Practiced in a small group, with the coach close, until each skill feels steady.

  • Going under by choice

Your child decides to put their face in, then goes under calmly.

  • Breath control

Holding a breath and letting it out slowly, so going under feels easy.

  • Back floating

Floating on the back with more independence each week, the resting position every later level builds on.

About Super Frogs
Good to know

Before the first class

  • Children still in diapers need an approved swim diaper.
  • A child still getting used to going under can start in Tadpoles.
  • Swim lessons add an important layer of protection. Active adult supervision stays essential around every body of water.

Fun fact

Hundreds of tiny feet

Sea stars cross the ocean floor on hundreds of tiny tube feet. Our Starfishes use two, and some days they seem just as busy.
